Northec Construction Inc. was commissioned by Detour Gold for the realization of two synchronized projects at the Detour Lake Mine. The first project, North Dump Ditching, includes tree clearing, construction of 1,848 m of access roads, pond excavation, 1,727 m of ditch excavation and rip-rap to transport and place.
The second project, North Easter Creek Crossing, includes construction of cofferdams, dewatering, and earth excavation, and foundation backfilling, installation of culvert, road construction and site restoration.
